Welcome to Delta Social Skills. By purchasing, enrolling in, or participating in any Delta Social Skills program, course, membership, class, or 1-to-1 session, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully before purchasing.

  1. Educational Services — Not Therapy

Delta Social Skills providesĀ educational social-emotional learning (SEL), social skills, confidence-building, communication, and personal development programs for children and youth.

All programs and services offered by Delta Social Skills areĀ fully educational in natureĀ and are not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, psychological treatment, behavioural therapy, medical care, or mental-health treatment.

Our classes are designed to teach children practical skills and strategies that can support areas such as:

  • Social communication
  • Confidence and self-esteem
  • Friendship skills
  • Emotional awareness
  • Problem-solving
  • Perspective-taking
  • Assertive communication
  • Self-talk and positive thinking
  • Resilience and personal growth

Delta Social Skills does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical services for mental-health, behavioural, developmental, or other medical conditions.

Participation in Delta Social Skills programs does not replace professional medical, psychological, therapeutic, or other clinical services when such services are appropriate.

  1. Starter Course

The Delta Social Skills Starter Course is a self-paced educational program created and owned by Delta Social Skills.

Course materials may include videos, lessons, activities, worksheets, workbooks, reflection pages, challenges, badges, certificates, social stories, written content, graphics, and other educational resources.

Intellectual Property

All course content and materials are the intellectual property ofĀ Delta Social Skills and/or its creator, Luciana Pacheco, unless otherwise stated.

Your purchase provides you with aĀ personal, limited, non-transferable right to access and use the course for your own educational purposes.

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, reproduce, or republish the course or its materials
  • Share your course login or access with another person
  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute the workbook or other downloadable materials for commercial purposes
  • Upload course materials to websites, social media, file-sharing platforms, or other public or private repositories
  • Use the course materials to create or sell another course, program, curriculum, or educational product
  • Teach or deliver the course content commercially without written permission from Delta Social Skills
  • Claim the course materials or curriculum as your own

Unauthorized sharing, reproduction, resale, or distribution of course materials is prohibited.

  1. 1-to-1 Sessions

1-to-1 sessions are individually scheduled educational sessions with Delta Social Skills.

Payment and Refunds

1-to-1 sessions are non-refundable.

Once a session has been purchased, the payment cannot be refunded.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule a session, you must contact the teacherĀ within 24 hours of the scheduled session time.

Rescheduling is subject to the teacher's availability and isĀ not guaranteed. A new session time can only be arranged if the schedule allows.

Failure to provide notice within the required timeframe may result in the session being forfeited.

  1. Membership & Group Classes

Delta Social Skills memberships provide access to scheduled group educational classes according to the membership or enrollment terms presented at the time of purchase.

Membership Payments

Membership payments are non-refundable.

Parents/guardians may choose to withdraw their child from the membership at any time. There is no requirement to remain enrolled for a specific number of weeks unless otherwise stated in the specific membership offer.

Withdrawal will prevent future enrollment or recurring charges according to the applicable membership billing schedule. Payments that have already been processed are non-refundable.

  1. Parent/Guardian Responsibility

A parent or legal guardian is responsible for:

  • Registering their child for programs and services
  • Providing accurate information during registration
  • Ensuring their child has access to the technology and materials needed to participate
  • Supervising their child's use of downloadable materials
  • Ensuring that course access and materials are not shared with unauthorized individuals
  • Making appropriate decisions regarding whether the program is suitable for their child

Parents and guardians are encouraged to reinforce the skills and strategies taught in the program at home.

  1. Participation and Class Environment

Delta Social Skills is committed to creating a respectful, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Delta Social Skills is committed to providing a supportive, encouraging, and positive learning environment during all sessions.

Students are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and practice the skills taught during each session. Parents/guardians are encouraged to support and reinforce these skills at home to help encourage continued growth and confidence.

  1. Course and Class Content

Delta Social Skills may update, modify, improve, replace, or discontinue portions of its curriculum, lessons, activities, or educational materials from time to time.

Educational content is provided for learning and skill-development purposes and is not intended to guarantee a particular social, academic, behavioural, or personal outcome.

  1. Use of Materials

Materials provided through Delta Social Skills are intended for the registered student and their parent/guardian for personal educational use.

Parents/guardians may print or use materials for their child's personal learning and reinforcement at home.

Materials may not be commercially reproduced, resold, distributed, or incorporated into another program without prior written permission.

  1. Technology and Access

For online programs and sessions, parents/guardians are responsible for providing a suitable internet connection, device, and access to the required online platform.

Delta Social Skills is not responsible for technical problems caused by a student's device, internet connection, software, or circumstances outside of Delta Social Skills' reasonable control.

  1. Changes to These Terms

Delta Social Skills may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to its programs, services, policies, or legal requirements.

The most current version will be posted on the Delta Social Skills website.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, enrolling in, or participating in a Delta Social Skills program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
