For parents raising children ages 8-13
Help Your Child Build The Confidence To Handle Friendships, Social Challenges, And Boost Their Self-Esteem
Emotional Intelligence isn't something children either have or don't have. It grows as they learn what to do in the moments that matter most.
GET INSTANT ACCESSDoes this sound like your child?
"Nobody wants to be my friend."
Your child wants to be included. But when other children are already playing or talking, they aren’t always sure how to join in.
Friendships can be complicated
Having a hard time dealing with arguments, feeling left out, or wondering what went wrong. Difficulty reading the room.
They give up before they even begin.
“What if they say no?”
“What if they don’t like me?”. Sometimes, staying quiet feels safer than trying.
You wish you could stand beside them and tell them exactly what to do.
But you can't be there for every recess, every group project, or every conversation.
The missing piece isn't just confidence.
It's knowing how to understand themselves and navigate everyday challenges
Children are taught academic skills every day, but emotional intelligence and social skills aren't always taught directly.
Children also need to learn how to understand their emotions, handle disappointment, navigate friendship challenges, communicate effectively, and speak up for themselves.
This course gives children practical tools to build these skills.
That’s when confidence, emotional intelligence, and self-esteem start to grow.
Imagine if...
Instead of wondering how your child will handle the next friendship challenge, you know they have the skills to work through it on their own.
They make friends with confidence
Instead of standing on the sidelines wondering what to say, your child knows how to join a conversation and feel like they belong.
They handle friendship challenges with ease
A disagreement with a friend or a difficult day at school no longer feels overwhelming.
They start believing in themselves
They speak up when something doesn't feel right. They try new things w because they trust the skills they've learned.
Introducing
Delta Social Skills Starter Course:
Building Confidence and High Self-Esteem
Everything is organized in one easy-to-use online course library.
Perfect for parents of children ages 8-13 who want to help their child build emotional intelligence, confidence, boost self-esteem, strengthen friendships, and navigate everyday social situations.
Here's how your child will build confidence and emotional intelligence one step at a time.
Children can see exactly which lesson to complete next, earn stars as they work through the levels, and revisit lessons whenever they need extra practice.
Your child will discover their strengths, understand what confidence really is, and begin replacing self doubt through engaging lessons and activities designed to make confidence easy to understand and fun.
Through relatable stories and hands-on activities, your child will learn why confidence changes, how to build it over time, and how to turn "I can't" into "I can't...yet."
Using memorable activities and child-friendly tools, your child will learn how thoughts affect feelings, recognize Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANTs), and manage emotions with greater confidence.
The course includes a bonus complete downloadable workbook with reflection pages, parent guidance, and guided activities. Use these resources to reinforce learning at home and help the whole family use the same language and tools.
What your child will learn
Every lesson gives your child practical tools they can use in everyday life, helping them become more confident one skill at a time.
Build resilience.
They'll learn how to turn "I can't" into "I can't...yet," so setbacks feel like part of learning instead of a reason to give up.
Develop healthier self-talk.
Your child will learn to recognize unhelpful thoughts and replace them with more encouraging ways of thinking.
Understand thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
They'll discover how thoughts influence emotions and actions, giving them simple strategies to manage big feelings with confidence.
Build stronger friendships.
From joining conversations to handling small disagreements and understanding boundaries, your child will learn skills they can use every day.
Speak up with confidence.
Whether it's asking to join a game, sharing an idea, or expressing how they feel, your child will learn how to communicate clearly and respectfully.
Believe in themselves.
As your child practices these skills, they'll begin to recognize their strengths, trust themselves more, and approach new situations with greater confidence.
After enrollment, you’ll have access to the complete course, including engaging video lessons, activities, reflection exercises, practical tools, and a downloadable workbook with parent resources.
Meet Your Teacher
Hi, I'm Luciana Pacheco, although most of my students know me as Miss Lu.
After years of working with children in classrooms and as a behaviour specialist, I noticed the same pattern again and again.
Children wanted friends. They wanted to join in. They wanted to feel included. They just didn't know what to do.
That wasn't because they weren't capable. It was because social skills are rarely taught the way reading, writing, or math are.
That's why I created Delta Social Skills.
For more than 16 years, I've helped children build confidence by teaching the practical skills behind it. My background in Psychology, Autism and Behavioral Science, classroom teaching, and behavior therapy shaped every lesson in this program, making them practical, engaging, and neuroaffirming.
Since then, I've worked with thousands of students around the world and have received more than 700 five star reviews from parents who have seen their children grow in confidence, communication, and friendships.
My goal has never been to change who your child is.
It's to give them the skills to understand themselves, navigate social situations with confidence, and become more independent every time you're not there to help.

What makes Delta Social Skills different?
Delta Social Skills teaches children how to be critical thinkers and make decisions.
Your child learns how to think, not what to memorize.
Instead of practicing one "right" response, your child learns how to read social situations, understand different perspectives - whether they're making a new friend, joining a conversation, or working through a disagreement.
Confidence grows through practice, not advice.
Children don't become confident because they're told to "believe in themselves." They become confident because they have tools they can use when they don't know what to do.
Your child is encouraged to be more of themselves, not someone else.
The goal isn't to teach children to mask who they are or fit a particular mold. It's to help them understand themselves, and build healthy relationships in a way that feels natural to them.
What parents often notice first
Their child actually enjoys learning social-emotional skills.
-
The lessons feel relatable. Social stories and real-life examples help children recognize situations they may experience
- The activities are easy to follow. Children are guided through simple activities and reflection exercises that help them think about and practice each skill.
-
The course is fun and engaging. Short video lessons, interactive activities, and a star-based level system give children a sense of progress and make learning feel rewarding.

Children can learn at their own pace. They can take their time, revisit a lesson, and practice a skill again whenever they need to.

And they love earning their stars! ⭐ Each completed level gives children a visible sense of accomplishment and encourages them to keep going.

My son really enjoyed these classes .They were fun and light and so helpful. He begged for more classes, so I'm signing him up for more. He loved the ANTS lesson... that's the Automatic Negative Thoughts... lol. I recommend this class to your kids who could benefit from having more awareness, self-esteem and more!
